She lost the point. Any time when a racket hits a ball, the ball has to land on the opponent side for it to be legal continuation of play. Same goes for serve, if the ball gets stuck in the racket during a serve, it’s a fault.

The person holding the racquet where the ball got stuck loses the point because they did not return the ball.

Lol god that does sound really odd though but i’d imagine it would happen more than we think because we’re all used to watching the pros on tv. She would lose the point, it wouldn’t be a let because it’s not her serve? :S

Sorry to say it but she does indeed lose the point. You get one swing of the racquet at the ball to get it over the net. If the ball does not make it over the net in that one swing then you lose the point regardless of where the ball ends up after that swing.

Your sister would lose the point because she didnt get the ball over the net.

I would say let too because it is an accident. (like hitting the ball in the net)
