What kind of sneaker should I buy for tennis?

Yuer asked:

What kind of sneaker should I buy for tennis? I don’t really need a super expensive one. I would like one that is comfortable and easy on feet as the ones I have are cheap and uncomfortable for running. Thanks.

I prefer Adidas shoes for tennis but it also depends on whether your feet are narrow or wide. Every shoe fits differently. My personal favorite is the Adidas Barricade. They are durable and easy on the feet. The newest version of this shoe is the Adidas Barricade Five. I hope this is some help!

goto midwestsports.com or tennis-warehouse.com. They are dedicated Tennis sites and have a large collection of Tennis shoes. You can either buy whatever you want there or just lookup stuff there and buy at your local sportsauthority (if your in USA) or whatever sporting store is close to your place\

edit: as you can see asking such a question only makes things harder for you since everyone has different choices. Just goto any of the 2 sites above and pick something that’s decent and fits in your budget.

I choose a pair of Wilson tennis sneakers because they are comfortable and easy on the feet and are not to expensive. You can also buy them at any sporting goods store

To tell you the truth, i bought my sneakers for tennis at pay-less! I use champions- they are EXTREMELY comfortable, not heavy AND cheap! They come in great styles! They are about 20 dollars now and mine lasted for about 3 years!!

The answers that have been mentioned already are quite good (Adidas, Wilson and Nike) but Asics tennis shoes are great as well.

I use the Asics Gel – Challenger and its awesome, it incorporate technologies such as Sp EVA, PHF (Personal Heel Fit System), Trusstic System and others. Its also a Sports Medicine Australia reccommended shoe.

You can check out more info on it at

    Hope this helped! xoxo

i have wilson and i wear them even when i’m not playing tennis,

i recommend these because they have a little gray strip in the front (ok not a strip it’s part of the shoe) that doesn’t wear away like normal shoes would

i’m known for ruining shoes in two weeks because of how i stop and change direction quickly and these shoes are amazing, they are really really comfortable. i got them at sports authority (local sports place) for i think 30 bucks, but they are worth every penny

I play in KSwiss. They are designed for tennis and actually very comfortable on the court.

I have the Adidas Barricade IV. I’ve had the pair for around 2 years, and I love them. The are extremely comfortable, don’t cost much at all and they fit like a glove. The newer styles are what I would prefer to get because they are, for one, newer and better constructed. From my experience with the shoes, you have a excellent grip on the court. Hope I could help! :)

Try light weight and white ones.. white ones will reflect the sun and not make your feet so hot.. Also make sure that they have a decent amount of grip or tread.

The best tennis shoes for tennis should be flat soled and have a durable rubber compound….Wilson shoes r cheap and good…but Nike have sm that r ok too….check them out at ultimate sports tel:2166 3163.

Depends what kind of style you like. I have a very flashy pair of orange Filas.. They lasted a very long time for their price and look sick.. They are the Fila Tourneos (or something like that)…. Don’t get Nike unless you don;t mind them wearing out very soon and costing alot..

I recommend Pumas or Adidas because they have a lot of grip under them to keep you in the court.

I like Wilson. My sister loves Adidas. And I heard Prince made a nice sneaker, but only from one person.

Its worth it to get a really good shoe.
