What’s the difference between the regular tennis balls and the new spinner balls? Which one is better?

At our school we got new spinner balls, but the coach gave us a choice as to which one we want to use. Which one would be better for me. I have only been playing tennis for about one year, and I am adequate, but not great. Can you help?

I’ve never heard of those. I would stick to regular balls as that is what you are going to come across more often.

in tennis making the ball spin is very important because it will make it bounce in a different direction when it lands making it harder for your opponent to hit it. if the spinner ball makes it easier for you to spin it (say when you slice the ball) then definitely go for the spinner ball…i haven’t tried the spinner balls but sounds like they will make your life a whole lot easier.

well i’m not sure about stuff about the spinner balls but i’d advise to practice with those if you plan to be a player who puts spin on shots, but then also to practice regularly with regular tennis balls. you won’t always have the spinners and regular ones gives no one the unfair edge to a game.
