My little brother wants to start tennis?

tennis equipment
Blaire asked:

My little brother is eleven and wants to start playing tennis. I just wanted to know what sort of equipment would be the best for him reguarding brands and things of the sort. What is the best type of raquet for a beginner of his age, is my main question. And is there anything else that I should look for when I’m out buying his equipment?

Thank you so much,
Blaire

Since he is evidently a beginner, I believe you shouldn’t really consider buying an expensive racket, because as he advances and progresses in tennis, and gets bigger, he’ll need to get a new one anyways. That being said, you can go to your local sports store and browse through some rackets, and see what he likes. I would recommend a Prince or a Wilson. Again, nothing too expensive, because he might just end up hating tennis and quit a few months later.

mostly you just need a light racket it doesnt matter what kind of brand you get and then some tennis balls about 3-4 packs of them would do it.
