What are some durable tennis strings that play like synthetic gut 16 gauge?

TheSuperKam asked:

I play a lot of tennis. I usually use 16 or 17 gauge synthetic gut. Brand doesn’t really matter for me. Well I break a lot of strings so i decided to switch over to this blue string called cyber string or something. It’s really stiff but definately playable. I can play with this stuff but I’d prefer to play with synthetic gut, but it does not hold up long enough. So what type of string plays like synthetic gut but is much more durable?

I don’t know if these play like synthetic gut, but they are very durable. Prince Problend and Babolat Xcel. I like Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour the best, but that is not very durable.

babolat pro hurricane tour does not play like synthetic gut, but its a great string and im sure you’ll like it. Its one of the most durable strings on the market, so i’d go with that. It puts a lot of spin and has a good level of control. Not as much control as synthetic gut, but its pretty close. Its also a lot harder on your arm, but if you have good form then it shouldn’t be a problem.
