Hanny asked:

I want to start playing tennis, I am a beginner. I wanted to know which tennis racket I would be able to purchase in London or online.

i would choose wilson for a beginner, the racket has more control so you can keep the ball in. But if you want power choose prince. And don’t ever use head, babolot, dunlop, or some none name brand racket. I hope that i have helped u!

in my personal opinion, its the player that makes the racket. I, for example chose my racket because it had cool colors. I currently have the Head Microgel Extreme, and its a great racket with great spin. Always but namebrand rackets. Head is cheap but good quality. Wilson and Prince are great manufacturers as well. Go to your local tennis place and ask the guy first. Also, make sure the racket is geared towards control, because whats the use of being able to hit hard if it goes out. Buy a racket thats comfortable weight wise. Get a slightly higher string tension then the avg (it will say on your racket) because tighter strings = control. Also, try to choose a racket that is head light, also a factor to control. I would recommend the new Youtek rackets from head, they look really good, and the k factor zen. well good luck!
